North Fork American River Outing is an opportunity to learn about the wild trout early in the new trout season, in the North and Middle Forks of the American River. We can meet in Foresthill and decide which river or lake people want to fish. We could meet up afterwards for a BBQ, or not... as decided by participants.

Salmon Outing is an opportunity to help monitor the Fall Run Salmon as they travel through the Sacramento area in the Sacramento River. People can fish for chinook salmon from boats or from the bank. We can meet at the Broderick Boat launch on the Yolo County (West Sac) side of the river across from Discovery Park. A BBQ lunch and weigh in of salmon (if caught and kept) will follow at 1 p.m. Start time is about 7 a.m.
